Interior Designer, Carol Daum, ASID, RID
Carol Daum, ASID founded Design Scapes in South Lake Tahoe over 25 years ago and has been serving Lake Tahoe and the surrounding communities ever since. Her interior designs include both commercial and residential award-winning remodels, and show houses.
Carol’s commitment to the profession is reflected by her combined college education and experience. She is a Nevada Registered Interior Designer which allows her to practice commercial interior design in the State of Nevada. She is certified by the CIDQ which is the most recognized indicator of proficiency in the interior design industry. She is also a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and completes continuing education units on an annual basis for the most up to date information on building codes, ADA regulations and design trends.
Carol has many repeat clients and referrals, which speak to the quality and attention to detail of her services.
Carol’s design resources are virtually limitless, from “affordable quality” to the finest and most skilled craftsman. She will use her extensive interior design knowledge to give you the most “bang for the buck!” Her use of practical finishes prevents wear and tear, and fading. With her background and education she can create stunning long-lasting designs that are easy to maintain and are environmentally friendly!
What is ASID?
A professional with the letters ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) behind their name has passed extensive exam requirements and have distinguished themselves by demonstrating a specific set of core competencies, supported by verified work experience and a college degree. They have proven their expertise in understanding and applying current codes established to protect public health, safety and welfare. They are passionate about their profession and dedicated to its recognition and integrity.
